Cake Decorating Classes - Present Cake!
Well here it is...my first cake from my Level 2 classes!
It was actually easier than it looks to make. We tend to cheat in class and use polystyrene instead of baking cakes (better for the waistline too!),but everything else on the cake is edible!
The bow, gift tag and ribbons are all made with white RTR fondant (in this case I coloured it pink) and the cake box and cake board are iced in chocolate RTR fondant.
The chocolate icing was really hard to roll out but the smell of chocolate was so amazing when rolling it out I would definitely use it again purely for that!
Next cake - baby shower cake :) can't wait to do it seeing it will a special addition to one of my closest friend's baby shower
